Description

SH2-234 "Spider Nebula" collaboration with @ad_infinitum_astro

My buddy Dan and I worked together during a short window between clouds this past weekend to image this target. Dan lives in a less light polluted location and acquired all of the broadband data, while I captured the narrowband. Processing was performed by me. This collaboration doubled our data during this period, and led to this image. Hope y'all enjoy.

"Located in the constellation of Auriga IC417, or the Spider is an emission nebula approximately 100 light years across. It is located about 10,000 light years from Earth. It is a hotbed of new star formation."
